Learn to meditate course

Sinead Howard has been practicing meditation daily for over 6 years and in 2021, graduated from the Australian Yoga Academy as a certified Yoga and Meditation teacher.

Learn how to cultivate your own meditation practice through a 4 week series of guided meditation sessions and teachings, for an hour on Saturday afternoons at 3.30pm.

There are many felt benefits that a daily meditation and mindful practice can produce, some of these include: reduce stress, alleviate anxiety, greater self awareness, improve your emotional wellbeing, concentration, creativity, a reduction in age-related memory loss, can generate compassion, improve sleep quality, diminish the perception of pain and soothe your thoughts.

Meditation is something everyone can do to enhance their overall health and wellbeing. Most importantly, learning to honour the unique person in each one of us

Please bring to each class your own Yoga Mat, Towel and Notebook

Productive Exam Prep using Meditation and Mindfulness

PRODUCTIVE EXAM PREP USING MEDITATION AND MINDFULNESS.

This 6 week course focuses on getting you in top shape leading into your exams.  By setting up more productive study practices, you will feel more able and confident. 

Using mindfulness and meditation techniques you’ll be able to clear your mind, focus on what’s important, and get your priorities in order.  

You’ll be given take home resources as well as practical experience during the class.  You’ll be asked to do some regular meditation at home in between classes. (You could even do it with a family member if you wanted to!)

Classes will be small and the vibe will be friendly.  You will learn a variety of mindfulness techniques as well as experience a range of meditation styles to see what best fits you. An added bonus is that these techniques will give you a lifelong skill for managing good mental health. 

PS You don’t need any previous experience of mindfulness or meditation to do this course!

I invite you to a nurturing, restorative, nourishing, rejuvenating, ultimate self-care day.

This one-day retreat is a moment to journey within, where you can feel safe, supported, free from judgement or expectation; it is a moment where you can simply be with yourself to replenish your own cup. 

A tranquil day to reconnect with our true nature and reset. A rest and restore day in a tranquil, serene environment.

The day will include a gentle movement practice in the morning followed by a guided meditation, journaling prompts and group coaching/discussion, Yin Yoga and Supported Restorative Yoga to finish the day, with Reiki  sprinkled all over you.

This one-day immersion into the Self is a good time to let go of the busyness and chatter of the outer world, spend the day in a sacred, peaceful space to feel nurtured, to renew your vital energy, and to come home to your Self/ true essence/heart space/ inner wisdom….

Throughout the course you will have the opportunity to practice several methods together with fellow participants, discuss difficulties or experiences in your own personal practice, and experience the immeasurable benefits of having an experienced guide on the path of meditation, who will reassure you and help navigate you through any obstacles.
